We are very sad to report the death of Penny Elvin on 9th July 2025 at Trinity Hospice. Penny was a church member at St Stephen’s for over 40 years, and someone who was always there for us all in so many roles. Leader, church warden, supporting mission, prayer warrior and a great friend. Her joy and faithfulness in her Christian life are an inspiration to us all.

Penny was confident that she was going to be with the Lord so “we do not grieve as those without hope”. Penny is with the Lord Jesus whom she loved and served so faithfully.

Penny’s funeral is on Thursday 7th August at St Stephen’s at 1 pm. This will be followed by a private cremation for family only. This will be followed by a wake at church at 4 pm to which attendees are invited to bring and share food as is our custom at St Stephen’s.
